Typography

I've been playing a little with typography.

Sticky My Car Robot Dude

I'd been wanting to do a character creation forever. This new company, Sticky My Car, does die-cut vinyls, usually for cars but they do all sorts of other stuff. (Awesome work for me btw, I'm doing all the custom and new sticker creations and man, am I getting great at Illustrator.) Their target market is a more hip crowd so a cute robot with headphones got a good response. Their site is still being built so no link but here is the little guy in two poses. My next just-for-kicks project is to animate him to dubstep. Teehee.

Keyboard Icon Set

I created an icon set, dark and light versions for a web site that is under construction. It has the usual Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and blog icons. The whole site is computer themed so I thought keys to click on as icons was a nice touch. 

Generoucity (marketing firm work)

About a month ago I started working part time for a marketing firm Generoucity. They have their own graphic artists so usually I just do web stuff. These two websites I CSS/HTML-ized and actually the Dermapen one is a mix of my work and another coder. It's off the Joomla platform so it has a lot of .php etc weaved into it.

Roslyn Photography

I'm pretty excited about this website. It's a photography site/portfolio and it is so beautiful. I'm a fan of negative space sites as I've mentioned. Roslyn wanted it simple but with lots of function. Make sure to go the portfolio pages and view her beautiful pictures.

Cheers 2011

It's amazing how at the end of each year I look back and wonder to myself how I survived THAT one. I guess that's the beauty of life though, I never know what's coming and I'm never sure where I will be in a year. So before I go out and send off this year with a kiss, here is to you 2012. May you be a better version of your predecessor. And here's to you my new business venture, I hope finding your rythym and voice is a quick and profitable process.
